This class will teach you everything you need to know about welding over a two night period (May 12 and 19). Classes are held in our metal shop at 440 Somerville Ave. from 7-10pm. Please wear natural fiber clothing and close toed shoes. Also, please bring something to pull your hair back if you have long hair.
This class covers the following topics:
-Welding safety and equipment.
-Cleaning and preparing your piece for welding.
-TIG Welding techniques.
-MiG Welding techniques
-Oxyfuel welding techniques.
-Spot welding operation.
plenty of practice time on each machine, plus consultation with a metal shop manager about any upcoming projects your may have.
Cost: $95 includes all materials.
